Communicate through the Press

The Press Centre is situated in Hall 6/5a and is open from Monday 16 to Friday 20 June 2008, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is the area devoted to meeting accredited journalists.

Exhibitors' Directors of Communications (or their representatives at the Exhibition) will have free access to the Press Centre.

To promote your business and your products and services, several options are available for your Press Representative:

  • the ‘Media’ Press racks’
New for 2008, the Press Service will provide a Press rack for each accredited media organ (press agency, publication, radio or television), by name and with the country of origin designated by a flag: a total of nearly 300 different media.
To improve the information, exhibitors will be able to target the media intended to receive their information.
  • the Exhibitor Press Handout
This document is essential in your communication campaign to raise the awareness of the Press. It presents in detail your company and its senior management, your sectors of activity, your leading products and services, and your latest innovations.
It is a simple and effective tool to present your company in all its aspects to journalists. You will be able to place this Press dossier in the ‘Media’ pigeonholes provided in the Press Centre.
  • the Directory of Exhibitors’ Press Representatives
This year, the Press Service is re-writing the Directory of Exhibitors’ Press Representatives issued to all journalists attending the Exhibition, and available on request to those who are unable to attend. This Directory is a basic document for the Press, since it enables them to contact key communications staff in between Eurosatory exhibitions.
  • the Eurosatory 2008 Press Handout
This summarises, among other things, the information provided to the Exhibition Press Service – Trimedia Communications – by the Exhibitor’s Press Representatives, notably on innovative new products and services.
You will also be able to contact all the accredited journalists (more than 760 in 2006) and those present (nearly 600 in 2006). They will be available in the ‘Press’ part of this site which can be read by all the 2,000 press contacts receiving information from the Exhibition.
To feature in this we invite you to contact us and provide information on the form which you will find in the Exhibitor’s Manual.
