Press Center

The Press Centre is situated in the Hall and is open from Monday 16 June 2008 to Friday 20 June 2008 from 8h to 18h. It is designed to offer:

  • optimum working conditions for journalists,
  • easy and rapid access to information,
  • opportunities for meetings and exchanges between journalists and exhibitors.

You will find there:

  • Information about the Exhibition
    • the Official Catalogue, the floor plan and the Eurosatory 2008 Press Pack,
    • the calendar of events: press conferences, official visits, live demonstrations, the International Conference on Homeland  Defence,
    • ELDIG meetings, French Army Symposium etc.
  • Information from the exhibitors
    • exhibitors’ Press Packs and documentation placed for your use in the Media Press Racks.
      The Press Racks are a major innovation. For 2008, the exhibitors can leave their information in pigeonholes addressed by name to each accredited media representative. As soon as you have received your accreditation a pigeonhole will automatically be available to you.
    • the Exhibitors’ Press Representatives, exhibitors’ communications representatives (an electronic and hard copy version will be available in June 2008).
  • Exhibition photographs
    • photographs of the Exhibition in JPEG format will be available on each computer workstation in the Press Centre and will be placed on-line during and after the Exhibition.
    • The audiovisual service provider (Agence Kervert) will provide photographs on CD-ROM on request (on payment).
  • Communications equipment
    Computers and printers Connection for laptop computers (RJ45) Telephones (cabins)
    Internet connection (Wi Fi) Interview rooms Fax (self-service)

  • Services
    A relaxing area with bar (free hot drinks, non-alcoholic drinks and pastries ; sandwiches, salads and alcoholic drinks on repayment)
    An attended cloakroom (from 8h to 18h)
    Main television news channels: CNN, LCI, TF1, etc.
