Concept and DNA of the exhibition
Eurosatory is a trade fair dedicated to the land and airland defence and security sectors. World number 1 in its category today, it is the unmissable event for all the players of these two sectors.
- An international and exhaustive exhibition
Eurosatory presents the vast majority of countries that have a real defence and security industry.
Eurosatory brings together not only manufacturers, but also Official Delegations, VIP Experts, operational users, purchasing managers, research offices, researchers, investors, politicians and journalists who follow defence and security issues.
Countless professionals who attend the exhibition represent a high-added value network which corresponds to the exhibitors’ expectations.
- A technological and innovative exhibition
Innovation, at the heart of the exhibition, can be observed among large groups, within the mid-market and SMEs, but also on the Eurosatory LAB which gathered in 2018 78 start-ups (together with the “Generate” cluster of GICAT) and which will host even more start-ups in 2020.
Eurosatory remains an event where the equipment is displayed in its real size. More than 400 vehicles were exhibited: helicopters, drones, textiles …
The live demonstrations of the exhibitors are performed throughout the week together with live demonstrations of the units of the armed or security forces, highlighting the control by the operational technologies developed by the industry.
- A trade fair dedicated to Business
Eurosatory provides participants with the most powerful business tools to make their attendance the most successful. Correct signage, highly detailed catalogue (hard and online versions), programming business meetings before the event, website and high-performing mobile applications, theme-oriented itineraries, 1 to 1 networking… Everything is designed to optimise everyone’s participation and make the exhibition an optimised business moment.
- A week of reflection
Attendance of security and defence experts from all over the world allows for a thorough reflection on ways to build a safer and more secure world. More than 70 conferences were organised in 2018 with participation of 250 speakers, on a wide variety of topics, usually technical, but also geopolitical, legal, etc. These free-access conferences allow everyone to delve deeper into the subjects of their interest.
