Drones and Robotics
Robotics naturally takes the front line in all types of conflicts and crises. Land, air, sea, urban or confined areas, large spaces or the seabed, as soon as these spaces are not safe, human exposure is no longer necessary. Robots do not replace humans, they extend and augment them in their most dangerous missions.
Embedded Electronics
The qualities of an embedded electronic system are based on its reliability, robustness, miniaturisation, low power consumption, ability to interface with other systems, maintainability and cost. At the heart of all systems, it is the object of the highest technological developments, from research to industrialisation, through increasingly innovative manufacturing processes.
Training and Simulation
Simulation and training systems are nowadays integrated in all phases of the realisation of an operational system and at all levels of the chains of command. The use of Artificial Intelligences, such as expert systems, requires powerful computing resources and original software allowing to get closer to and increase the reality. Ergonomics and the results of behavioural sciences are translated into new proposals that are constantly readapted to the evolution of situations and equipment.
Engineering and Manufacturing
Today, it is increasingly common to sell both a product and its manufacturing tool. Indeed, the adaptations of the manufacturing and engineering processes are standardised, modular and easily reconfigurable. The entire chain from design to manufacture is present, not to mention supply, maintenance and distribution.
CBRNe
For five days, you will have the opportunity to meet leading companies in the field and discover their latest innovations. Daily workshops and conference sessions will address the hottest topics in the field, creating a unique platform to exchange best practices and lessons learned. Operators will also have the opportunity to participate in the NCT PRO experience for training on simulated CBRN scenarios led by expert instructors, while live demonstrations will showcase European CBRNe capabilities.
Research, Tests and Measurement
Research, whether basic or applied, relies on sometimes unique test and measurement facilities. Test and measurement facilities are also the assurance of quality and compliance. The centres and laboratories are the guarantors of these requirements.
Intelligence
Sigint, geoint, comint, humint etc... the list of topics in the world of intelligence is as large as the associated products and services. If communications networks are a naturally privileged space, it is on the whole spectrum that interceptions, eavesdropping, image analysis and threat anticipation are carried out.
